Pass the Biscuits, 'Cause it's King Biscuit Time...

For 54 years, "Sunshine" Sonny Payne has been behind the mic every weekday at 12:15 pm to host King Biscuit Time - the legendary radio show dedicated to traditional and contemporary blues. In the early days, Sonny Boy Williamson, Robert Jr. Lockwood, and many others played live in the studio as the show broadcast throughout the Delta region. It was the first blues radio show of its kind then and the same could be said today.  On October 19, 2005, Payne hosted Reid live on the broadcast sent out from the Delta Cultural Center in Helena, Arkansas.
